Our Children's ministry serves children from birth to 10 years of age. The nursery consists of two classes, the infants ( 0 - 23 months old) and the toddlers ( 2 - 3 years old). Our children's ministry consists of classes for pre-kindergarten/kindergarten ( 4 - 5 years old) and elementary ( 6- 10 years old). Zion's kids know how to have fun in their walk with christ; with newly renovated classrooms, a recreational room, game room, and a snack shop.
Fresh Fire is our Youth Ministry which consists of middle and high schoolers. This ministry endeavors to guide youth at Zion and all over the Roxboro area into a life with Christ and they have fun doing it. Fresh Fire goes on at least one outing per month, getting the pre-teens and teens out into the world showing them that you can be in this world but not of it and still have fun.
Young Adult Ministry
Momentum is our Young Adult Ministry. It serves as a place for young people coming of age in today’s society to find comfort in walking with the Lord and striving for righteousness. These young adults have embarked on a mission to go out into the community and find the lost of their generation giving them guidance and tools to build the momentum of their walk with Christ
Our Men’s Ministry is instrumental in bringing the men of the local area into the Kingdom of God and helping them to take their rightful place at home, work, church and in their community. The men of Zion fellowship and stand as leaders teaching the younger generations how to sharpen iron with iron.
The Women’s Ministry at Zion serves as a place where Godly women can fellowship and find solace as they spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to individuals, families, communities and the world. The women of Zion travel all over the country on their quest to solidify their relationship with God and help others to do the same.
We base our worship belief on what the Bible teaches concerning God inhabiting the praises of His people. We believe we are to worship God in spirit and in truth and with the sound of instruments (Psalm 150). We believe in dancing and rejoicing before the Lord, clapping our hands and lifting our voices.
II Chronicles 5:13-14
