PASTOR DANNY JOHNSON

Pastor Danny Johnson, along with his wife Co-Pastor Teresa Johnson of 26 years, is both founder and senior pastor of Zion Christian Center located in Roxboro, North Carolina.
In 1994, God called Pastor Johnson to build an ark for lost and hurting people. Consequently, in obedience he answered the call and shortly thereafter Zion Christian Center was birthed. He is esteemed and revered as a man who has a genuine heart of a shepherd in addition to a fervent love for the people of God. He teaches principles of successful living for Christians so that they may transform their lives through daily application of the Word of God. Pastor Johnson’s message is one of hope, faith, love, victory and encouragement – sometimes humorous – yet always profound – but never compromising.
Pastor Johnson believes that learning is a lifelong process; therefore, he has attended various Bible training schools and is currently enrolled in the Christian Life School of Theology where he is increasing in wisdom and knowledge of the Word of God. He is a member of the International Covenant Connections Fellowship and The Ministry Institute which coaches, teaches, as well as mentors pastors and ministry leaders to accomplish all of their God-directed mandates through leadership principles, methods, systems and processes.
Yet, they would both esteem their greatest reward from God is their three lovely children: Darius, Candace and Danny Khari.
The ministry of Pastor Danny Johnson and Zion Christian Center is broadcasted on WRXO 1430 AM at 9:00am on Saturday and WKRX 96.7 FM at 9:00am on Sunday. For speaking events and other church information reference www.zionchristiancenter.net.

Meet Co-Pastor Teresa Johnson

Teresa Johnson serves alongside her husband, Pastor Danny Johnson, as co-pastor in addition to the role of church administrator.
As far back as a youth, she has loved the Lord. This steadfast love kept her through the tragedies of her life – namely the loss of her entire nucleus family by age 21.  Longing to be with her family she contemplated ending her life. But that is when God, in His infinite wisdom, gave her triumph over darkness. God’s love fills her with compassion for all of mankind. She is truly a woman after God’s heart.
As a part of God’s intricate plan, she stood by her husband when God called him to the ministry into the office of a pastor. What is now known as Zion Christian Center started as an intimate Bible study in the couple’s home!

She has served in several areas of the ministry in order that the mandates of God might be accomplished. Under her leadership, the youth ministry has expanded to meet the needs of students from middle school to college. Heart to Heart, Mother’s Day Luncheons, annual Getaways plus conferences have been instrumental in her training women to find their purpose in God as women, wives, mothers, entrepreneurs, executives, etc. She also founded and is director of H.E.A.L.E.D ( Help Equip Advance Liberate Educate Develop) – an organization that seeks to assist the people within the community through developing programs, devising strategies, as well as availing opportunities to those in need so that they are better equipped to advance in life.

She is an inspiration to many who have come in contact with her ministry. Her passion to see everyone receive Christ and live a victorious life is evidenced when she teaches and ministers the Word of God. Through the prophetic anointing on her life, many have been delivered and set free from satanic strongholds. With the Holy Spirit as her guide, God is using her to bring people to the knowledge of His Word, fear and admonition of Jesus Christ, and His destiny for their lives.
Co-Pastor Johnson is a graduate of the Prevailing Word Bible College. She also graduated from the Pastoral Vision Programat More Than Conquerors Bible College and from Light University she received her Certification in Biblical Counseling. Currently she is tapping into her tenacious will to resolve problems by embarking upon various business ventures as an entrepreneur.
