The ministry of ZCC can be defined as the fulfillment of the Great Commandment of our Lord: “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind” and “You shall love your neighbour as yourself” Matt. 22:37, 39. At ZCC teaching the apostles’ doctrine, engaging in fellowship, commemorating the breaking bread, praying together, caring for one another, worshiping God, and actively evangelizing the community. Our Pastors
Pastor Danny K. Johnson
Pastor Danny K. Johnson serves as Pastor and Founder of Zion Christian Center located in Roxboro, North Carolina. He is a native of Milton, NC.
Pastor Johnson is a man of God who has a genuine heart of a shepherd and fervent love for the people of God. Pastor Johnson ministers the uncompromising Word of God with grace, boldness, humor, and enthusiasm. Through the Holy Spirit, Pastor Johnson makes the Word of God come alive and applicable to the hearer, placing strong emphasis on faith, hope, love, victory, and family.
Pastor Johnson has served in the United States Army, is a graduate of Impact University, and he has also graduated from numerous bible, pastoral, and leadership training programs.
He is a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He and his wife, Teresa Johnson, together have three children, Darius (Bonnie), Khari(Christy), and Candacé (Aniket), and four grandchildren.
Co-Pastor Teresa Johnson
Teresa is co-founder of Zion Christian Center located in Roxboro, NC where her husband serves as senior pastor. The ministry was birthed by the Holy Spirit in January of 1994.
Teresa has been ministering the Word since 1994. She is a spirit-filled, anointed speaker with a passion for bringing people into an intimate relationship with God. She has a prophetic anointing that stirs the heart of the listener. Teresa’s desire is for people to know Christ and to trust Him with every area of their lives.
She is a graduate of More Than Conquerors College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Ministry. She is a Certified Deliverance Counselor through Above and Beyond NCCA Counseling Academy. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Counseling from Impact University and she is a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor Intern.
Although Teresa is very active in ministry she fully believes and practices living her life by God’s Divine order, family before ministry. She is married to Pastor Danny and together have three children, Darius (Bonnie), Khari(Christy), and Candacé (Aniket), and four grandchildren.
